There had to be a way to disarm the officer from here. The runner still had plenty of knives. But, even though the runner was quick on the draw with throwing knives, not many things on this Earth can best the speed of a bullet. Would she make any movement with her arms other than raising them in surrender, that'd be the last thing she did. No, that wouldn't work...

There had to be some way out of this. Should she try to run away? Or was it better to surrender?
